Captain's Log. Gyldenholt Anniversary;

Gyldenholt Anniversary was an excellent day for the White Star. Most importantly, we received a new Letter of Marque from their Excellencies, Ursul and Collette. The content of which I have inscribed below;
Whereas, by Their Excellencies under the Great Seal of The Barony of Gyldenholt bearing the Date the 12th Day of June in the year of A.S. XLV, and in the 2nd year of Their Excellencies tenure, do they issue forth and grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal to any that are deemed fitly qualified for apprehending, seizing, and taking the Ships, Vessels and Goods belonging to any Persons who threaten The Barony of Gyldenholt. These are, therefore, to will and require you to cause a Letter of Marque and Reprisals to be issued unto Don Lot Ramriez, Captain of The Goode Ship White Star mounted with 14 Carriage guns and navigated with her courageous crew. You are charged to keep a Journal of Proceedings, and therein particularly to take notice of all prizes taken, the nature of such prizes, the time and place of their being taken, the value of them as near as you can judge, as also the situation, motion and strength of you foes as well as you can discover by the best intelligence you can get, of which you shall from time to time as you shall have opportunity, to transmit an account to our Chronicler. In returns for such favors, THe Goode Ship White Star shall receive safe passage in the waters that provide nuturance to the Barony of Gyldenholt and adequate bounty. Provide always that security be given according to Their Excellencies instructions before mentioned; the Said Letters of Marque and Reprisal to continue in force for another passing year from this date, for which this shall be your Warrant.
Given under our Hand....

So, here begins our Journal of Proceedings, that shall be maintained by myself and the crew for the next year;

CP Prize; July 10th AS XLV

CP Prize was a small event, though I believe the Kingdom came out well for the money that was found.
For us, myself and Magdalene made the quick jaunt away from the ship. Spent most of our time at the Inn, Myself gambling and Mina working with string, a small bit of skirmish with the swords and some nice bardic performance from the two of us. I took some small prizes from the raffle.

In Attendance,
Lot, Magdalene.

Cap'n

Gyldenholt Anniversary; June 12 AS XLV

The day of Gyldenholt Anniversary saw much recognition for the ship, it's crew and our family with the giving of the Letter of Marque. Beyond, Jamie and Dickey did a great job planning the tourney and a side melee tourney.
Jamie, himself, being recognized by the Barony for his fighting skill.
With my Lady at my side, I was graced with the presence to strongly win the tourney of the day, becoming the Rapier Champion, as well as a privateer for their Excellencies. In the finals doing battle with two strong opponents; Don Colwyn Stagghorn and THL Avenel Kellough, both of which are worthy opponents and gentlemen of the field.
Dame Eilidh was also blessed with the skill to be recognized as having the best Illuminated Letter in the contest.
A very good day for us.

In Attendance:
Lot, Caterina, Benito, Jamie, Dickey, Casey, Eilidh.

Yours,
Captain Lot Ramirez
